V14; Because of my chains, most of the brothers in the Lord have been encouraged to speak the word of God more courageously and fearlessly.
When I did my QT, I was reminded of the seed. A seed has to die before it can multiply to produce many more fruits. (Death: Denial to self and denial to one's right) Paul's difficulties encouraged the brothers to advance God's Kingdom with much more fervor.
In the same way, when any one of us faces difficulties but holds on, it might just just inspire and encourage people around us (: So don't lose heart yea.
Application Point: Paul did not let his persecution stop him from preaching the Word, so why should we let anything stop us? We are serving the same God Paul did (:
